Grandparent rights after adoptions…PART 2?

Thank you all who answered about the 1st question….when my husband adopts my girls and become their legal father, does his parents become legal grandparents as well?

My next question is…as "adopted" grandparents…can they fight over custody of them if we leave my parents guardians over my daughters in case of us both perishing?

    Grandparents have no legal civil rights, so it should change nothing.
