How long does it take to locate noncustodial parent who has been ordered to pay child support?

finally my court order for childsupport was awarded through the courts now how long does it really take for the courts to track down this deadbeat dad he is working but i just don’t know where and i made the caseworker aware of this as well she told me it might be hard to locate him since i didn’t have his new employer information but i did give her is social security number i just want the money my child is due and hope that this process doesn’t take months to do

Linda. It may take months to take care of. If i am right they may be able to issue a warrant for his arrest if he refuses to pay. they have to find him first and if indeed he is working his employer will garnish money from his paycheck to pay the back child support. i wish you well on this.
